GAH

The main GAH vehicle refrigeration units are:

LANCE

The GAH Lance is ideal for the smaller van sizes such as: Jiffy trucks, snack wagons, Renault Kangoo, Daihatsu, Ford Connect, Citroen Dispatch etc.

ARROW

The GAH Arrow is ideal for the slightly larger vans such as Ford Transit, Mercedes Vito, Mercedes Sprinter and Citroen Relay.

RAPIER/SUPER RAPIER/JAVELIN

The GAH Rapier, Super Rapier and Javelin are ideal for vehicles in the 3.5 tonne range. They are equipped with twin fans for the condenser unit and also twin fans for the evaporator unit. They also have a standby option (for people who wish to have their refrigeration units operational without the engine running).

EXCALIBUR

The GAH Excalibur is ideal for vehicles in the 7.5 tonne range such as: Mercedes Atego, MAN and Leyland-Daf. These have standby as an optional extra.

The compressors on all GAH units are belt driven by the vehicle's own engine and if standby is being used, the standby compressor is belt driven via a 240V electric motor. It is imperitive therefore that both belts are inspected at the scheduled service intervals.

GAH REFRIGERATION UNIT MAINTENANCE

Units without standby require maintenance every six months. The servicing takes about 1 hour.

Unit with standby require maintenance every four months. The servicing takes about 1.5 hours.

Every 12 months the filter drier and drive belt must be replace in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedule.
